Teaching Experience

  • Started with contract teaching in 2001

  • Attended NIE for 2 years

  • Began formal teaching in a Primary School in the East in 2004

  • Led and co-led the English Department for 3 years

  • Taught mostly English and Math to all levels from P1 to P6,

  • Taught Science to P3 - P4 levels

  • Completed a teaching exchange programme in China

  • Visited schools in New York City to develop a writing programme for the school I was teaching in

  • Resigned in June 2016 to spend more time with my family

  • Was a part-time tutor from June 2016 to Dec 2018

Education

  • Completed and attained Bachelor's Degree in English with Sociology (UniSIM)

  • Completed tertiary education in Tampines Junior College

  • Completed secondary education in Tanjong Katong Girls' School

  • Complete primary education in Paya Lebar Methodist Girls' School
